Applicant terms.

Plain-English terms for everyone who applies to 9TIDE. Please read them before you send your application.

  1. Who we are

    9TIDE is a trading name of 9 Tide Limited, a company registered in New Zealand and based in Auckland. In these terms, "we" and "us" means 9 Tide Limited. You can reach us at info@9tidesocial.com.

  2. Who can apply

    You must be 18 or older to apply. Before any work, we check a valid government photo ID for every creator, with no exceptions. If you are under 18, please do not apply.

  3. Applying is free

    We never charge a fee to apply, to attend an interview or to work with us. If anyone asks you for money in our name, it is not us. Please tell us.

  4. An application is not an offer

    Sending an application does not guarantee an interview or a place. Nothing on this website is a job offer. Work with us only begins once we both sign a written contract, which sets out the pay, the content and your limits.

  5. Be honest

    Please give true and current information. Photos must be recent and of you. If an application includes false information, such as a wrong age or someone else's photos, we will decline it.

  6. Your photos

    By sending photos, you confirm they are of you and that you are allowed to share them. We use them only to review your application. We never post them, sell them or use them in marketing.

  7. What we collect and why

    We collect the answers and photos you send in the application form. We use them to review your application, to contact you about it, and to plan shoots if you are selected. Only our casting team can see them. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone outside 9TIDE, unless the law requires it.

  8. Keeping your answers

    You agree that we may keep your application, including your answers and photos, for up to 12 months. This lets us consider you for this casting round and for future ones. After 12 months we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time by emailing info@9tidesocial.com, and we will do so within 30 days.

  9. Your privacy rights

    We handle your information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. You can ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, at any time.

  10. How we contact you

    We will contact you using the method you choose in the form. If you no longer want to hear from us, tell us and we will stop.

  11. Keeping things private

    Some details we share during interviews, such as shoot plans and locations, are private. Please do not share them publicly. We keep your application private too.

  12. Changes to these terms

    We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page is the current one. These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
